Episode 12: Its A Great Story, But Is It True?
Feb 18, 2026The stories we tell about ourselves don't just describe our lives. They become the water we swim in. The thing about water is, you stop noticing it. This episode pulls the lens back on how narratives form, why we grip them so hard, and what it costs us when a story that was never quite true hardens into something we'd defend with our lives.
We look at why stories feel so real, how they calcify, and what becomes possible when you start treating them as provisional rather than gospel. And then (more interestingly) what lies beyond the story altogether. Turns out there's a more grounded, embodied way of relating to life that doesn't require a narrative at all. Which is either very liberating or mildly terrifying, depending on how attached you are to yours.
